Cashew, mustard & tamari dressing

I don't have much to say about this dressing except that it's yum and creamy and goes with pretty much everything - fish, eggs, steak, veg etc... and you should try it.


1 cup raw cashews

1/2 cup water

1/2 lemon, squeezed

1 Tbsp seeded mustard

1 Tbsp tamari

1 garlic clove or 1 tsp garlic powder


  1. Cover the cashews with water and soak for at least 4 hours

  2. Drain the cashews and blend in a high powdered blender with water and lemon until smooth and creamy

  3. Add in remaining ingredients and blend again

Note: add more water at the end if you like a runnier sauce - better for salads!
